We live in a moment when it is harder and harder to talk with our friends and family members about many issues that are central to American society. The rabbis created a culture of disagreement where civility was maintained in an atmosphere that encouraged argument. How did they do it? This three session class will focus on the teachings of the Talmud and the Chofetz Chaim on creating civil discourse.
